Once every monsoon, the lights in sixteen cities go out for one second. In that second, sixteen drivers get a call from the man they all owe. Win THE BOLT, a race from Kuala Lumpur to the foot of Kinabalu, and Along clears your debt and grants you one wish. Lose, and he owns you.

Push rivals into walls, into traffic or off the road. When you crash, Impact Time slows the game down so you can steer your wreck into a rival and take them out with you.
Near misses, driving into oncoming traffic, drifts and jumps fill the nitro meter. Doing them back to back raises your score multiplier.
Drive into a busy junction and cause as many ringgit of damage as you can. Fly through the multiplier rings, then set off PETIR to blow the wreck apart.
Bukit Bintang's neon, the Federal Highway, the Penang Bridge in a storm, the paddy of Perlis, Kuching's waterfront and the summit road of Kinabalu.
Every race starts after 7 pm, from golden hour to late at night, and the wet roads reflect the street lamps and shop signs.
A courier, a framed ex-cop, an engine builder, a fisherman's daughter, a tycoon on bail, a timber hauler and a rally driver. Beat one in their duel and you take their pink slip: their car, their driver, and what becomes of their wish.
Traffic comes in waves, with open road between. Pass an oncoming car flat out with barely a gap and the game slows for a moment, and when a rival hits traffic just ahead, you see it happen.
Race any road you've reached as any rival whose pink slip you hold, in their own paint jobs, for medals and the Steam leaderboards.
Halfway through the story, the Formula One circuit by KL's airport opens: two laps against the seven under floodlights. Finish the story and Midnight Belum opens too.
